Senior Business Analyst

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst who can also operate as a Product Owner bridging the gap between business stakeholders end users and the delivery team. This is a hybrid role for someone equally comfortable eliciting and documenting requirements as they are owning a product backlog prioritising features and driving sprint outcomes.

Business Analysis

• Elicit analyse and document business requirements through workshops interviews and stakeholder engagement
• Translate business needs into clear user stories functional specifications and process flows
• Conduct gap analysis and recommend process improvements
• Support UAT planning and execution and validate delivered solutions against requirements
• Produce BRDs process maps and requirement traceability matrices as needed

Product Ownership

• Own and prioritise the product backlog in line with business goals and stakeholder input
• Define and communicate a clear product vision and roadmap
• Write and refine user stories with acceptance criteria for the development team
• Participate in sprint planning backlog grooming sprint reviews and retrospectives
• Act as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders and the delivery team
• Make trade-off decisions on scope priority and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders

• 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst with at least 1-2 years in a Product Owner or Product Manager capacity
• Proven experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery teams
• Strong skills in requirements gathering user story writing and backlog management
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Jira Confluence or equivalent
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Experience defining acceptance criteria and prioritization frameworks (e.g. MoSCoW RICE WSJF)
• Bachelors degree in Business IT or a related field
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to translate between business and technical language

• Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP PMI-PBA) and/or Product Ownership (CSPO PSPO)
• Experience in a client-facing or consulting environment
• Exposure to data analysis or basic SQL for requirements validation
• Experience working with distributed/offshore delivery teams
• Domain experience relevant to the hiring companys industry
