Lead Software Engineer React Native

Requirements:

• Currently holding a Senior React Native Engineer Lead React Native Engineer or equivalent leadership role
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field or equivalent professional experience
• Expert-level knowledge of React Native including advanced navigation state management and UI component design
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript with deep understanding of advanced features and best practices
• Extensive experience building cross-platform mobile apps for Android and iOS with a focus on performance and compatibility
• Advanced experience with RESTful and GraphQL APIs WebSocket communication and cloud integrations (AWS or GCP)
• Strong testing skills unit integration and end-to-end using Jest Detox or similar frameworks
• In-depth knowledge of mobile app architecture and design patterns
• Experience with CI/CD advanced Git strategies and native build tools (Xcode Android Studio)
• Strong debugging troubleshooting and performance optimization skills
• Advanced knowledge of CSS UI libraries and responsive design
• Fast learner adaptable to new technologies and able to integrate them into existing systems
• Strong leadership problem-solving and communication skills; able to mentor a team effectively

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of React Native developers fostering technical excellence and collaboration
• Design build and deliver high-quality secure and feature-rich mobile applications
• Ensure performance security and scalability while maintaining engineering best practices
• Conduct thorough code reviews and enforce industry-leading standards
• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation
• Liaise with the technical team and clients on complex technical issues
• Contribute to technology decisions based on hands-on experience
• Guide the team in adopting new technologies aligned with industry trends
• Lead by example on code quality testing rigor and timelines
• Oversee app distribution and release across platforms including post-launch support
