Head of Finance

A leading and well-established companyis seeking an experienced and commercially driven Head of Financeto provide strategic leadership across finance business operations and performance management.

This is a key leadership position responsible for driving financial sustainability operational efficiency governance and business growth while partnering closely with the senior leadership team.

• Lead the overall Financefunctions ensuring alignment with the companys strategic objectives.
• Develop and execute financial strategies budgets forecasts and business plans.
• Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to support business growth and profitability.
• Oversee financial reporting management accounting cash flow working capital taxation treasury and statutory compliance.
• Monitor financial and operational KPIs identify performance gaps and implement corrective actions.
• Drive cost optimization process improvements and operational efficiency across the business.
• Oversee commercial and operational activities to ensure effective resource utilization and service delivery.
• Establish and strengthen internal controls risk management frameworks and corporate governance practices.
• Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process and provide regular performance reviews to the leadership team.
• Manage relationships with banks auditors regulators suppliers and other key stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulatory and corporate requirements.
• Identify operational risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Lead mentor and develop high-performing finance and operations teams.
• Support strategic initiatives business expansion investments and other key management projects.
• Work closely with the CEO and senior management team on business performance profitability and long-term growth strategies.

The ideal candidate should be a strategic finance leader with strong commercial acumen and hands-on operational exposure preferably within the automobile automotive manufacturing trading or related industries.

Key requirements include:

• Full professional qualification in Finance/Accounting such as CA ACCA CIMA or an equivalent qualification.
• A degree in Finance Accounting Business Administration or a related discipline would be an advantage.
• 10 years of relevant experience including significant experience in a senior finance/management position.
• Strong exposure to financial management budgeting forecasting working capital cash flow and management reporting.
• Demonstrated experience in operations management and business performance improvement.
• Strong understanding of commercial and operational aspects of a business.
• Experience in the automobile/automotive sector will be highly advantageous.
• Strong analytical strategic thinking and decision-making capabilities.
• Excellent leadership stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to translate financial information into actionable business decisions.
