Assistant Executive, Housekeeper

Oversee the administration of all housekeeping operations including guest rooms public areas staff areas and uniforms.

Ensure the highest standards of hygiene safety comfort and aesthetics are consistently maintained.

Lead housekeeping projects programs and training initiatives as required.

Act as the primary point of contact for departmental interdepartmental and guest-related communication.

Conduct regular spot checks to ensure housekeeping colleagues maintain established standards.

Assess training and development needs of housekeeping colleagues and provide appropriate guidance.

Facilitate the training and development of all housekeeping team members.

Review training outcomes and identify future development needs in collaboration with the Housekeeping Manager.

Conduct classroom training on-the-job training and corrective coaching sessions.

Ensure Housekeeping Attendants are fully trained and perform according to departmental standards.

Promote awareness of the organizations Quality Policy Vision and Mission among all team members

Ensure compliance with and support for the hotels Quality Management System.

Liaise and collaborate with other departments to achieve operational requirements and service standards.

Manage daily housekeeping operations efficiently to deliver exceptional guest service in line with established standards.

Inspect VIP rooms prior to guest arrival and throughout their stay.

Conduct regular inspections of occupied and vacant rooms to ensure quality standards are maintained.

Ensure key control procedures are followed including end-of-shift key checks in accordance with company policy.

A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role at a five-star property.

A Diploma in Hospitality Management would be an added advantage.

Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications HACCP Health & Safety practices ISO/Quality standards and laundry operations.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Excellent interpersonal communication and team leadership abilities.

A proactive approach with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
