As a Service Engineer Trainee you will join our customer service organization and embark on a development journey designed to build your technical expertise within one of our healthcare technologies. You will support service activities through remote troubleshooting issue resolution and technical assistance while completing the required certification pathway and expanding your responsibilities also to customer-facing Field Service Engineer activities.
Your role
- Support customers by assisting in the diagnosis troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues related to Philips healthcare systems and solutions.
- Receive prioritize and manage service requests ensuring accurate documentation and timely follow-up activities.
- Maintain detailed records of troubleshooting actions diagnostics resolutions and service activities within service management systems.
- Collaborate with experienced engineers and cross-functional teams to resolve customer issues and continuously improve service delivery.
- Escalate complex technical issues when required providing clear documentation of findings and actions taken.
- Participate in technical training certification programs and continuous learning activities to develop modality expertise.
- Support maintenance troubleshooting upgrades installations and other service activities through a combination of remote and on-site learning experiences.
- Ensure all activities are performed in compliance with quality regulatory and safety requirements.
- Build strong relationships with customers and colleagues contributing to high levels of customer satisfaction and team success.
- Apply problem-solving skills technical knowledge and sound judgment while working under the guidance of experienced engineers.
Youre the right fit if you have:
- Degree in Biomedical electrotechnical Electronics Electrical Telecommunications Mechanical engineering.
- Preferably hands-on technical experience with Medical Devices (Xray / IGT / CT Scanners / Magnetic Resonance or others).
- Customer first attitude works collaboratively autonomy proactive and taking ownership.
- Ability to express sympathy empathy and patience clear and effective communication.
- Technical knowledge and engineering fundamentals (experience is a plus) Good computer PC and internet skills.
- Fluency in English in addition to Spanish as mandatory local language.
- Availability to travel being based in Madrid area.
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the companys main facilities generally at the customers or suppliers locations.
