Your job
As a Senior Software Developer you will be part of an agile project team adapting standard pricing software to the specific requirements of our German customers.
You will support projects end-to-end from conception and technical design to implementation module and integration testing and go-live. Beyond development you will actively contribute to delivering real business value through high-quality pricing solutions.
From day one you will be part of a structured and collaborative engineering community with a high degree of autonomy and close interaction with customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Adapt and customize standard pricing software to customer-specific requirements.
- Design and implement complex pricing logic and business rules.
- Develop solutions using Java and/or Groovy.
- Plan and execute module and integration tests.
- Contribute to system integration via SOAP/REST web services.
- Participate in technical design and architecture discussions.
- Support go-live activities and post-implementation stabilization.
- Collaborate closely with customers to understand processes and translate them into technical solutions.
- Optionally take on (partial) project management responsibilities depending on experience.
- Continuously improve technical standards tools and development practices within the team.
What makes you the perfect candidate
- Strong experience with Java and/or Groovy.
- Solid understanding of database systems (SQL-based).
- Experience with web services (SOAP/REST).
- Version control experience (GIT or SVN).
- Experience working with Windows and/or Linux environments.
- Experience in technical design and structured software development.
- Experience working in agile teams.
- Good English skills.
- German language skills is a plus.

- SAP knowledge (especially material master and pricing).
- Experience with pricing processes or revenue management systems.
- Knowledge of Enterprise Integration Patterns.
- Experience with Apache Camel.
- Experience with pricing platforms (e.g. Pricefx Vendavo PROS etc.).

Das ist deine Aufgabe
Als Senior Software Developer bist du Teil eines agilen Projektteams und passt Standard-Pricing-Software an die spezifischen Anforderungen unserer deutschen Kunden an.
Du begleitest Projekte ganzheitlich von der Konzeption und dem technischen Design über die Implementierung sowie Modul- und Integrationstests bis hin zum Go-live. Dabei leistest du über die reine Entwicklung hinaus einen aktiven Beitrag zur Schaffung echten geschäftlichen Mehrwerts durch hochwertige Pricing-Lösungen.
Vom ersten Tag an bist du Teil einer strukturierten und kollaborativen Engineering-Community mit einem hohen Maß an Eigenverantwortung und engem Kundenkontakt.
Hauptaufgaben
- Anpassung und Customizing von Standard-Pricing-Software an kundenspezifische Anforderungen
- Konzeption und Implementierung komplexer Pricing-Logiken und Geschäftsregeln
- Entwicklung von Lösungen mit Java und/oder Groovy
- Planung und Durchführung von Modul- und Integrationstests
- Mitwirkung an der Systemintegration über SOAP/REST-Webservices
- Teilnahme an technischen Design- und Architektur-Workshops
- Unterstützung bei Go-live-Aktivitäten sowie bei der Stabilisierung nach Produktivsetzung
- Enge Zusammenarbeit mit Kunden zur Analyse von Prozessen und deren Übersetzung in technische Lösungen
- Optional: Übernahme von (Teil-)Projektmanagementaufgaben je nach Erfahrung
- Kontinuierliche Weiterentwicklung technischer Standards Tools und Entwicklungspraktiken im Team
Das bringst du mit
Must-have:
- Fundierte Erfahrung mit Java und/oder Groovy
- Gute Kenntnisse in Datenbanksystemen (SQL-basiert)
- Erfahrung mit Webservices (SOAP/REST)
- Erfahrung mit Versionsverwaltung (GIT oder SVN)
- Erfahrung im Umgang mit Windows- und/oder Linux-Umgebungen
- Erfahrung im technischen Design und in strukturierter Softwareentwicklung
- Erfahrung in der Arbeit in agilen Teams
- Gute Englischkenntnisse
