The School

Elians British School of La Nucia is a British international school for students aged 118 offering a continuous education from Early Years through to the IB Diploma Programme.

The school delivers a bilingual education (English and Spanish) combining the English National Curriculum with the Spanish system and culminating in the IB Diploma in Years 1213.

As an authorised IB World School it provides students with a globally recognised post-16 pathway designed to prepare them for university and international careers.

The Role

• Teach Science across Key Stage 3
• Ability to teach Science at Key Stage 4 (Biology Chemistry or Physics)
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the English National Curriculum
• Support students in developing scientific enquiry practical skills and academic confidence
• Work collaboratively within the Science department to ensure consistency and high standards of teaching and learning
• Contribute positively to the wider life of the school community

Candidate Profile

• Qualified teacher with a relevant Science specialism
• Experience teaching secondary Science within a British or international curriculum
• Ability to teach Key Stage 4 Science is essential
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Able to integrate quickly into an established international school environment
• Candidates must already hold the right to live and work in Spain
