The opportunity

As an IT Cybersecurity Engineer you will play a key role in designing implementing and maintaining secure industrial network infrastructures. Working within SCADA and critical infrastructure environments you will help protect systems networks and connected assets from cybersecurity threats while ensuring operational reliability and compliance with industry best practices.

How youll make an impact:

• Design and develop secure network architectures for SCADA systems incorporating advanced cybersecurity controls and best practices.
• Evaluate assess and strengthen the security of all connections to the SCADA network.
• Monitor validate and manage third-party security patches while ensuring system reliability and operational continuity.
• Implement cybersecurity features and controls provided by device and system vendors.
• Establish and maintain robust security controls over any medium that may provide backdoor access to the SCADA network.
• Deploy and manage internal and external intrusion detection and protection systems across the SCADA environment.
• Perform Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) as well as technical security audits of SCADA devices networks and interconnected systems to identify and mitigate security risks.
• Conduct physical security assessments of remote sites and connected infrastructure to evaluate and enhance overall security posture.
• Maintain and continuously improve test environments ensuring software and hardware remain up to date and aligned with current and future operational requirements.
• Manage backup and image handling activities for servers and workstations including patch management and system recovery processes.
  

Your Background:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Information Technology Computer Science Cybersecurity or a related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity network security or industrial control system (ICS/SCADA) environments.
• Basic knowledge of C/C programming is considered an advantage.
• Previous experience working on SCADA or industrial automation projects is a plus.
• Solid understanding of wireless networks web application security SQL injection cryptography penetration testing vulnerability management security risk assessment risk identification and mitigation techniques.
• Knowledge of encryption standards and security technologies including firewalls intrusion detection and intrusion prevention systems.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
• Excellent command of English both written and spoken.
