We are seeking experienced KoreanEnglish Medical Interpreters for a full-time remote Over-the-Phone Interpreting (OPI) position. This role supports medical appointments consultations and urgent healthcare interactions.

• Provide accurate impartial interpretation between Korean-speaking patients and English-speaking healthcare providers
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
• Apply strong knowledge of medical terminology and interpreter ethics
• Handle sensitive and urgent medical calls with professionalism
• Remain available during assigned shifts and participate in quality reviews or team check-ins as required

• Native or near-native fluency in Koreanand English
• Minimum 1 year of professional medical interpreting experience (OPI or VRI)
• Strong understanding of medical terminology ethics and confidentiality standards
• High school diploma or equivalent (higher education preferred)
• Excellent listening memory retention and note-taking skills
• Comfortable working remotely and managing varied call types
• Must successfully pass a language proficiency assessment and background check

• To Ensure Seamless Communication Youll Need:
  • A quiet workspace free from distractions
  • USB wired headset and a plain white shirt (required for video calls)
  • Laptop or PC with:
    • Intel Core i5 (8th generation or higher)
    • 8 GB RAM
    • 1080p webcam
  • High-speed wired internet connection (minimum 20 Mbps download / 10 Mbps upload)
  • A solid grey background for video calls
