English Teacher

An established English academy in Gwangan Busan is hiring native-level English teachers for full-time positions beginning in August or September.

Teachers will work with kindergarten and elementary-aged students in a structured collaborative environment. The school is located near the Gwangalli area in Suyeong-gu one of Busans most popular coastal districts.

Position Details

• Location: Gwangan Suyeong-gu Busan South Korea
• Salary: KRW 2.42.5 million per month to start
• Salary negotiation: Available depending on education and experience

• Students: Korean ages 57 and elementary grades 14
• Hiring: Multiple teachers

Schedule

• Monday Wednesday and Friday: 9:00 AM6:00 PM
• Tuesday and Thursday: 9:00 AM6:40 PM
• Weekends: No regular weekend classes stated

Responsibilities

• Teach English to kindergarten and elementary-aged students.
• Prepare organized engaging and age-appropriate lessons.
• Help students develop confidence in speaking listening reading and writing.
• Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom.
• Monitor student progress and provide appropriate support.
• Follow the schools curriculum and academic procedures.
• Communicate and collaborate with Korean and international colleagues.
• Participate professionally in school activities and meetings.

Requirements

• Native-level English ability
• Eligibility for a South Korean E-2 teaching visa
• Strong communication and classroom-management skills
• Ability to collaborate as part of a teaching team
• Teaching experience is preferred
• Dependable and committed to completing the employment contract
