Purpose of Role

We are looking for an experienced and passionateSenior Web Developerto join our growing development team. Reporting to theHead of Development youll work alongside a team of 8 developers and collaborate closely with our client support team to build and maintain high-quality web applications.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Design and develop dynamic web applications and innovative online solutions
• Maintain and enhance existing web applications and services
• Develop and improve internal systems and processes
• Support the helpdesk team in resolving code-related end-user issues
• Work closely with the client services team to define feature specifications and investigate technical issues
• Conduct peer code reviews and mentor team members in line with best practice and coding standards

Technical Requirements

Essential:

• Minimum 5 years experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScript
• At least 2 years experience with Vue (preferred) React or similar JS frameworks
• Experience with SQL
• Strong HTML and CSS skills

Desirable:

• NodeJS
• GIT
• Elasticsearch
• PHP
• Database management
• Linux command line
• Browser compatibility troubleshooting

• Logical problem-solver with a strong work ethic
• Collaborative team player
• Comfortable communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Degree qualification (or equivalent experience) beneficial but not essential
