We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven SMME Transaction Manager to support the end-to-end management of funding deals within a development finance / lending environment. This role is ideal for a candidate with strong financial acumen deal execution capability and a passion for supporting small and medium enterprises.
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven SMME Transaction Manager to support the end-to-end management of funding deals within a development finance / lending environment. This role is ideal for a candidate with strong financial acumen deal execution capability and a passion for supporting small and medium enterprises.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Manage SMME transactions from inception to closure
- Conduct financial analysis and age analysis
- Ensure SOP compliance and follow-ups throughout deal lifecycle
- Support and implement business and funding strategies
- Drive deal structuring due diligence and reporting
- Maintain accurate documentation and stakeholder communication
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Finance BCom Accounting Economics Business Management or a related field
Experience
- 45 years experience in:
- Financial services / development finance / lending environments
- SMME support or SME financing
Non-Negotiable Skills
- Proven experience in:
- SMME Transaction Management
- Deal Management (Inception to Closure)
- SOP Compliance and Follow-ups
Technical Skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel (data analysis reporting financial modelling)
- PowerPoint proficiency
- AI knowledge/experience advantageous
