Job Summary
Service / repair / project technician
Minimum 5 years technical work experience - mechanical electrical instrumentation or industrial
Trouble shoot electrical hydraulic pneumatic control and mechanical systems
Ability to work with handtools power tools work at heights etc.
Basic welding experience
Responsible for the installation inspection and troubleshooting service &repair of all equipment
Maintain ahealthy and safe environment - comply with all HR SHERQ and admin related matters
Repairs maintenance and installation of equipment Dock levelers sectional doors high speed doors scissor lifts loading bay equipment and other associated systems
Proficient in trouble shooting electrical hydraulic pneumatic control & mechanical systems
Evaluation of equipment recommend repair work before failure or assessment after failure
Test equipment after repairs to ensure all is working correctly
Coduct risk assessment and enforce preventative / mitigating measures
Attend training sessions
Matric with English & Maths or equivalent Technical Trade Certificate
Drivers licence essential
Knowledge of the OHS-Act
Knowledge of potentially hazardous materials & practices
Good oral and written communication skills (English & Afrikaans)
