Job Summary
Are you a detail-oriented Draughtsman / Modeler looking to build your career within a leading civil engineering consultancy Join a dynamic team working on a variety of municipal infrastructure projects where youll be responsible for producing accurate technical drawings and models while collaborating with experienced engineering professionals.
Job Description:
- Produce detailed civil engineering drawings for roads sewer water stormwater fiber and associated infrastructure projects
- Develop and maintain accurate CAD and BIM models using industry-standard software
- Prepare project drawings using standard templates title blocks scaling conventions and layering systems
- Update and revise drawings based on engineering feedback and project requirements
- Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy compliance and consistency of drawings and models
- Manage drawing documentation version control and project file organization
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure efficient project delivery
- Support multiple projects and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Skills & Experience:
- 0-3 years experience in civil engineering drafting or modelling
Skills & Experience:
- 0-3 years experience in civil engineering drafting or modelling
- Exposure to a consulting engineering environment advantageous
- Knowledge of municipal infrastructure services including roads sewer water stormwater and fibre networks
- Ability to interpret engineering designs and produce accurate technical drawings
- Experience with CAD and BIM software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D or Revit advantageous
- Familiarity with drawing management systems and version control processes
Qualification:
- National Diploma Certificate or studies towards Civil Engineering Draughting or a related field
- CAD and/or BIM software certification advantageous
- Valid drivers license
