We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor / Cost Estimator to join a high-end residential construction and development team operating across the Boland region. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project costs preparing accurate estimates and supporting the delivery of bespoke luxury residential homes to exceptional standards.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project costs preparing accurate estimates and supporting the delivery of bespoke luxury residential homes to exceptional standards.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender documentation for luxury residential projects
Conduct quantity take-offs from architectural and engineering drawings
Manage project budgets cash flows and cost reporting
Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations
Prepare and administer contracts and payment certificates
Monitor project variations and cost implications
Conduct site visits and liaise with architects contractors and clients
Ensure projects remain within budget while maintaining premium quality standards
Assist with procurement planning and value engineering
Minimum Requirements
Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying Construction Management or related field
38 years experience in quantity surveying or cost estimation
Proven experience on high-end or luxury residential projects
Strong knowledge of construction methods materials and pricing
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QS software
Excellent analytical negotiation and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
Valid drivers license and willingness to travel within the Boland area
Preferred Experience
Experience working with bespoke homes wine estates or luxury developments
Familiarity with JBCC contracts
Strong understanding of South African construction regulations and costing standard
