- Develop accurate and competitive solar PV system designs and proposals.
- Conduct site assessments feasibility studies and energy yield calculations.
- Prepare technical drawings schematics and layout designs using AutoCAD PVsyst or similar tools.
- Collaborate with sales and project teams to ensure proposals meet client requirements and industry standards.
- Provide technical support during tender submissions and client presentations.
- Stay updated on solar technologies standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 3 years experience in solar PV design and proposal engineering.
- Proficiency in PVsyst AutoCAD Helioscope or similar design software.
- Strong knowledge of SANS codes IEC standards and local grid regulations.
- Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
