Professional Quantity Surveyor

A well-established multidisciplinary consulting firm with a strong footprint in infrastructure and built environment projects across South Africa is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team based full-time at a clients office in Rivonia Johannesburg.

• Manage all quantity surveying and cost management functions on large-scale projects
• Prepare cost estimates budgets tender documentation and financial reports
• Administer contracts and ensure compliance with GCC and JBCC contract requirements
• Conduct valuations payment certifications and final account negotiations
• Monitor project costs and identify potential commercial risks
• Liaise with clients contractors consultants and project stakeholders
• Assist in procurement processes and contract administration activities
• Travel to project sites when required

• Registered Professional Quantity Surveyor (PrQS)
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a consulting environment
• Minimum of 3 years post-PrQS registration experience
• Relevant university degree in Quantity Surveying
• Proven experience working on large-scale projects
• Experience in water and sewer infrastructure projects advantageous
• Strong knowledge of GCC and JBCC contracts
• Own reliable vehicle and willingness to travel
• Must be based full-time at the clients office in Rivonia Johannesburg
• Excellent communication analytical and negotiation skills
