Position: Operations Assistant Reports to: CEO Location: Remote Full-time (US hours)
Role Summary
Were hiring a mid-senior level Operations Assistant to act as a strategic execution partner to the CEO of a mission-driven nonprofit. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments brings structure to ambiguity and can independently drive complex initiatives from idea to completion.
Youll play a key role in translating vision into actionable plans managing multiple priorities simultaneously and ensuring consistent operational progress across organizational projects and property initiatives.
What Youll Do
Own and drive projects end-to-end from planning through execution
Break down complex ideas into clear actionable steps
Track priorities deadlines and stakeholder accountability
Coordinate vendors contributors and external partners
Build systems and SOPs for recurring workflows
Provide executive support including scheduling and logistics
Oversee project-based property operations and renovations
What Were Looking For
3 years in operations project management or executive support
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects independently
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Highly proactive detail-oriented and comfortable with ambiguity
Tech-savvy with tools like Google Workspace and ClickUp

Taking initiative without needing step-by-step direction
Managing up and maintaining clear accountability
