We are seeking a motivated and technically minded Field Service Technical Assistant to support field service operations. The successful candidate will assist with asset monitoring fault identification contractor coordination and maintaining accurate technical records across various building systems.
- Conduct routine inspections of HVAC systems fire systems lifts generators and transformers.
- Identify faults secure hazardous areas and escalate critical issues promptly.
- Assist technicians with site access and maintain contractor attendance records.
- Maintain accurate compliance logs for equipment readings and inspections.
- Communicate with tenants regarding downtime maintenance schedules and repairs.
- Complete scheduled checks on HVAC units fire systems lifts generators and transformers.
- Respond to after-hours equipment alarms and critical failures as part of the emergency call-out roster.
- Complete technical and safety training modules as required.
- National Senior Certificate (Matric).
- Technical qualification in electrical mechanical or building services advantageous.
- 1-2 years experience in property maintenance or a related technical environment.
- Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Strong communication and reporting skills.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and work independently.
- Basic computer literacy for maintenance reporting.
- Valid drivers licence.
- Willingness to participate in after-hours emergency call-outs.

Required Education:
