Night Auditor - Luxury All-Inclusive Safari Lodge - Northern KwaZulu-Natal
Role Overview:
An excellent opportunity for a reliable and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join a luxury all-inclusive safari lodge in Northern KwaZulu-Natal. This role is ideal for someone with strong financial and administrative skills who is comfortable working night shifts in a remote hospitality environment ensuring smooth overnight operations and accurate financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Night Audit & Financial Control
Perform nightly audit of all lodge transactions and revenue
Reconcile guest accounts payments and billing discrepancies
Ensure accuracy of all financial postings and reports
Balance daily cash card and POS transactions
Reporting & Administration
Prepare and distribute daily audit reports to management
Verify and close day-end financial systems and PMS entries
Maintain accurate records of all lodge financial activity
Assist with basic bookkeeping and administrative tasks
Guest Services & Front Desk Support
Handle late check-ins and early departures professionally
Assist guests with enquiries during night shift hours
Ensure smooth front office operations overnight
Maintain a calm welcoming and professional presence
Security & Lodge Oversight
Monitor lodge safety and security during night hours
Conduct regular property checks as required
Report any incidents maintenance issues or concerns immediately
Ensure guest safety and adherence to lodge protocols
Requirements:
Previous experience in Night Audit or Front Office in hospitality (essential)
Strong numerical and administrative skills
Experience with PMS systems advantageous
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and night shifts
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Comfortable working in a remote bush environment
Honest reliable and professional
