Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Performpreventative and planned maintenanceon plant equipment
Conductfault finding and repairson mechanical and electrical systems
Minimisedowntimeand ensure continuous production
Install test and commission new machinery and equipment
MaintainPLC systems(basic fault finding and diagnostics)
Ensure compliance withhealth & safety regulations
Keep accuratemaintenance records and reports
Assist with continuous improvement initiatives
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 (Matric)
Trade Test Certificate (Millwright) Red Seal preferred
N3 (Electrical/Mechanical) or higher
35 years experience in amanufacturing/FMCG environment
Strong knowledge of:
Electrical systems
Mechanical maintenance
Hydraulics & pneumatics
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding ability
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Good communication and teamwork skills
High attention to detail
