Microsoft D365 Business Central Developer

We are looking for a strong Microsoft D365 Business Central Developer to join our Business Applications team within Decision Inc. Our Microsoft D365 Business Central Developer will design develop and maintain high-quality solutions within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central using AL (Application Language). Work closely with functional consultants solution architects and clients to deliver scalable cloud-first solutions that extend standard Business Central functionality while following Microsoft best practices.

What Will You Do

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Design develop and maintain custom extensions using AL (Application Language).
• Build scalable upgrade-safe solutions without modifying the standard Business Central application.
• Develop and customize Business Central objects including:

Tables

Pages

Reports

Codeunits

Queries

XMLports

• Develop business logic to support finance sales purchasing inventory manufacturing and warehouse processes.
• Create event-driven solutions using event publishers and subscribers.
• Develop integrations with third-party applications through APIs web services and Business Central integration capabilities.

• Build and maintain reports and document layouts.
• Troubleshoot debug and resolve technical issues across Business Central environments.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.
• Deploy and maintain solutions across development test and production environments.
• Support solution upgrades and ensure compatibility with new Business Central releases.
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the development team.

Who Do You Need to Be

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Software Engineering or a related field.
• 3 years Microsoft Dynamics BC implementation experience
• Must have participated in at least 3 go-live data conversions and/or upgrades and/or full cycle implementations
• Experience within consulting service environment
• Knowledge of and experience in one of our service offerings such as Business Intelligence Enterprise Performance Management Business Productivity Solutions etc.
• Strong problem-solving skills and good communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to explain technical concepts to businesspeople in a language they understand and business requirements to technical people
• Ability to successfully manage and maintain strong relationships with a team and clients
• Effective planning and organizational skills
• Passionate and ambitious to deliver on the companys strategic plan
• Understanding how to enhance business with technology
