Duties & Responsibilities
Our client a well-established player within the FMCG space is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join their team. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer who enjoys leading teams improving plant performance and driving engineering best practice. You will play a critical role in ensuring machinery operates optimally while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and projects. If you are looking for a role where you can combine technical expertise with leadership and make a measurable impact this opportunity is for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a maintenance team to deliver top-tier technical solutions
- Drive plant uptime reliability and performance optimisation
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement lasting fixes
- Enforce and improve engineering standards and audits
- Support projects from concept through to commissioning
- Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritise high-impact work
Job Experience & Skills Required / Ideal Candidate Profile:
Education
- BSc / BTech in Mechanical Engineering or related
Experience
- 3 years in mechanical maintenance (supervisory level)
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles
- Proven leadership and team management ability
Skills
- Preventative & predictive maintenance (PPM)
- Root cause analysis (RCA) & fault finding
- Plant reliability & uptime optimisation
- Maintenance planning & breakdown management
- Engineering audits & project exposure
