Job Summary

Launderer Luxury Villa Greater Kruger

Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Launderer for an exclusive luxury villa in the Greater Kruger region.

This is an excellent opportunity for a meticulous hospitality professional with exceptional laundry and fabric care experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for caring for luxury linens and high-end guest garments ensuring every item is treated with the utmost attention and according to the highest standards of garment care.

Live-in position

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience (DOE)

Key Responsibilities

Manage all laundry operations for guest garments staff uniforms and luxury linens

Read and interpret garment care labels to ensure correct washing drying and ironing methods

Handle high-value designer clothing and delicate fabrics with exceptional care

Maintain the quality and longevity of luxury linens towels and bedding

Operate commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently

Sort wash press and fold laundry to the highest standards

Identify stains and apply appropriate stain-removal techniques without damaging fabrics

Ensure laundry areas remain clean organised and well maintained

Monitor laundry supplies and report stock requirements

Work closely with the housekeeping team to ensure seamless guest service

Minimum Requirements

Previous experience in a luxury lodge villa or five-star hospitality environment

Excellent knowledge of garment care and fabric identification

Ability to read and correctly interpret clothing care labels

Experience handling luxury linens and delicate high-end fabrics

Confident working with expensive designer clothing and guest laundry

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Excellent organisational and time management skills

Professional discreet and trustworthy

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced luxury hospitality environment
