REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree in Law.
- Experience in Commercial Law and Insolvency Law is essential.
- Computer literate.
- Strong drafting analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Sound knowledge of Commercial Law and Insolvency Law.
- Excellent legal drafting skills.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
DUTIES:
- Handle commercial law and insolvency matters from inception to completion.
- Draft review and negotiate commercial agreements and legal documents.
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal opinions.
- Consult with clients and provide legal advice.
- Draft pleadings affidavits notices and correspondence.
- Appear in court where required.
- Attend consultations negotiations and settlement discussions.
- Liaise with clients counsel sheriffs correspondents and other stakeholders.
- Maintain and manage legal files and ensure compliance with court rules and deadlines.
- Assist senior attorneys with complex legal matters.
- Monitor developments in relevant legislation and case law.
- Ensure high standards of client service and professional conduct.
- Monday to Friday: 08:00 17:00
