Implementation & Platform Engineer

Our client is seeking an Implementation & Platform Engineer to join a leading technology company operating at the forefront of Industrial IoT AI and digital transformation. This role offers the opportunity to work with innovative technologies while supporting the deployment commissioning and ongoing performance of advanced monitoring solutions within industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Support clients in implementing testing and optimising software solutions
Install configure commission and troubleshoot software deployments
Calibrate and configure sensor software on client sites
Monitor deployed sensors and servers to ensure maximum uptime
Provide standby support and respond to critical incidents when required
Deploy and commission software using Ansible Azure IoT Git and Docker
Create and maintain commissioning and support documentation
Investigate and resolve networking and infrastructure issues
Liaise with clients internal teams and stakeholders regarding system performance and incidents
Assist with infrastructure planning architecture discussions and maintenance activities

Minimum Requirements:

Certificate or Diploma in Information Technology or a related field
3 5 years experience in implementation application support IT support or a similar technical role
Comfortable working in Linux environments via command line and SSH
Solid understanding of IP networking and network troubleshooting
Experience with basic firewall configuration
Knowledge of Python or Bash scripting
Ability to read and modify TOML JSON and Python configuration files
Working knowledge of Git GitHub or GitLab
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Advantageous Experience:

Azure IoT or AWS IoT platforms
Docker and container technologies
SQL databases and query writing
OPC industrial protocols
Industrial technology or IoT environments
Personal or professional software projects
