The ideal candidate has hands-on understanding of ServiceNow-based custom app development REST API NOW API SAP integration UI Builder Service Portal Designer Themes and Widgets

Demonstrable experience in enterprise Risk and Compliance Integrated Risk Management Common Service Data Model (CSDM) and Configuration Management Database (CMDB) is essential

Strong Agile and DevOps mindset with ability to work autonomously adapt through flexibility and compromise and support global GROUP Group IT Governance function (2nd Line of Defense) is critical

Lead ServiceNow-based custom application development reviewing and streamlining existing code including APIs/interfaces and transferring custom code into the ServiceNow standard framework

Qualifications and Experience

• Fluent English-speaking including Business reading and writing
• Information Technology Qualification or relevant degree
• ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer
• Minimum of 5 years working experience in IT specifically ServiceNow

Essential Skills Requirements

• Technical:
• Expertise in Json Java and Javascript coding languages
• Experience in ServiceNow-based custom app development or similar
• Experience in enterprise Risk and Compliance and Integrated Risk Management
• Experience in the Common Service Data Model (CSDM) and Configuration Management Database (CMDB)
• Experience in integration with REST API NOW API and SAP
• Experience with UI Builder Service Portal Designer Themes and Widgets
• Experience in integrating complex business information and technical requirements
• Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter

Agile and DevOps:

• Experience with Agile Methodology
• Execution according to the Agile Methodology and attending of all team meetings including Stand-ups Sprint Review Sprint Retrospectives Sprint Planning meetings etc
• Daily use of the Agile Tool Chain as per the updates required by the respective feature team or teams
• JIRA/Confluence knowledge

• Excellent Communication skills
• Ability to relate to a variety of stakeholders at different organisational levels
• Strong interpersonal skills including Intercultural understanding
• Adapt (Reach agreement through flexibility and compromise. The parties generally have the same objective)

• Knowhow in technical governance and streamlining existing solutions
• Experience with ITIL V4 Foundation
• Scaled Agile SaFE Certification
• ITIL V4 post-Foundation Certification (e.g. Create Deliver and Support CDS)
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist Risk and Compliance (CIS-RC)
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist Integrated Risk Management (IRM)
• SAP experience with ODATA and Reporting
• SAP Analytics cloud Datasphere & PowerBi
• German speaking

Role Requirements

• Operations and Support:
• Supporting of our GROUP ServiceNow customers regarding their Service structures
• Monitoring logs for user queries

Delivery and Configuration:

• ServiceNow-based custom application development
• Review and streamline existing code including APIs / interfaces
• Transfer custom code into the ServiceNow standard framework
• Development and conception of new features
• Delivery is sometimes unclear and may require the employee to seek clarity and adapt requests to be aligned to business standards
• Check that the solutions by others are addressing the problems identified
• May need to develop simple solutions to varied problems in single systems

Continuous Improvement:

• Improve a product or a system that already exists by making conceptual changes and enhancements
• Can manage the solution for complex problems that may require simple solutions but affect multiple systems
• Proactive and be able to provide new ideas for improvement of processes

Documentation and Knowledge:

• Creating and updating documentation of user guides and guidelines including Operations manuals
• Ensure Knowledge Transfer within team
• Have a Knowledge Sharing mentality to help and upskill fellow colleagues
• May need to lead individual members of a team of Entry and Advanced level experts
