Job Description
Maintenance & Technical DutiesOverhaul assemble align and install mechanical preventative and scheduled to breakdowns and ONkey job daily plant inspections and identify problem work for shutdowns and input maintenance data and update loop drawings and specification independently while complying with mechanical electrical OHS and THS & Equipment ExposurePumps gearboxes conveyors bearings couplings blowers rotary valves heat seals agitators packaging and weighing on centre lathes and general turning Performance AreasPeople: Teamwork interdepartmental cooperation communication with operators and Process: Effective maintenance execution inspections breakdown response and shutdown : Ongoing plant inspections and asset care.

Minimum Requirements

N3 Certificate.
Qualified Fitter & Turner.
Trade Test (preferably Olifantsfontein or equivalent).
Exposure to computerized maintenance systems (Pragma or SAP).
Valid Code B drivers licence and reliable motor vehicle.
Experience in machining reading mechanical drawings pump and gearbox overhauling and lathe operation.

Knowledge Skills and AttributesStrong mechanical and machining to interpret mechanical attention to detail quality focus and problem-solving accountability teamwork and effective coordination and Functional CompetenciesFitter and Turner skills hydraulics conveyors pumps gearboxes bearings couplings and mechanical with packaging systems mixers blowers heat exchangers and rotary valves (various brands).Competent use of standard fitting and machining literacy (MS Office) and Code B drivers licence.
