Job Description
Our client a Manufacturing Company based in Worcester is looking for a Financial Accountant to join a dynamic and fast-paced financial team. This opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with solid experience a strong personality and the ability to perform under pressure while meeting tight deadlines.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage general ledger transactions
Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts
Maintain and update the fixed asset register including depreciation calculations
Support budgeting and forecasting processes
Reconcile and analyse accounts and expenditure
Assist with audit preparations
Support financial reporting and compliance requirements
Collect and maintain import documentation for VAT filings
Minimum Requirements:
Education and Experience:
Relevant accounting qualification is advantageous not essential
Minimum 3 years financial accounting experience
Manufacturing industry experience is advantageous
Experience with Syspro will be advantageous
Knowledge and Skills:
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Advanced Excel skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Strong personality with the ability to perform under pressure
Salary: Market-related based on experience
