Duties & Responsibilities
This is a critical role responsible for bridging the gap between finance business data and reporting. You will take ownership of key finance reporting processes support the evolution of the organisations business intelligence landscape and ensure that financial and operational stakeholders have access to accurate meaningful and actionable insights.
Working closely with Finance IT and business teams you will play a pivotal role in transforming complex financial and operational data into integrated reporting solutions that support strategic decision-making financial performance management and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop maintain and enhance financial and operational reporting solutions across the business.
- Analyse and integrate data from multiple systems to deliver accurate and meaningful management information.
- Support budgeting forecasting financial reporting and performance analysis through robust reporting solutions.
- Design develop and maintain BI dashboards analytical reports and finance reporting frameworks.
- Collaborate with Finance and business stakeholders to gather document and translate reporting requirements into technical solutions.
- Ensure data integrity consistency and accuracy across finance systems and reporting platforms.
- Develop and maintain SQL-based reporting solutions SSRS reports and ETL processes.
- Support ERP reporting environments and contribute to finance systems optimisation initiatives.
- Identify trends variances risks and opportunities through data analysis and financial reporting.
- Drive reporting automation process improvement and continuous enhancement of reporting capabilities.
- Deliver insights that support financial operational and strategic decision-making
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Bachelors Degree in Finance Accounting Information Systems Business Intelligence Data Analytics Computer Science Statistics Mathematics or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 4 years experience in Finance Systems Financial Reporting Business Intelligence MIS Data Analytics or a similar reporting-focused role.
- Strong exposure to financial reporting budgeting forecasting reconciliations and management reporting.
- Advanced SQL Server experience working with large and complex datasets.
- Proven experience with Data Warehouse concepts and data modelling methodologies.
- Advanced Power BI development experience.
- Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
- Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP Oracle Microsoft Dynamics 365 SYSPRO Epicor or similar.
- Strong understanding of ETL processes reporting architecture and finance data environments.
- Experience within Financial Services Insurance Banking or a regulated environment will be advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Ability to translate complex financial and business data into actionable insights
- Strong financial reporting and data visualisation capabilities
