Job Summary
Were seeking a talented ESG Manager (Mining) to join our clients team in Limpopo!
Requirements:
- Postgraduate degree or higher in Environmental Sciences Social Sciences Sustainability Finance (Climate Finance) Engineering Mathematics MBA or related fields linked to sustainability climate change and nature.
- Minimum 7 years experience in ESG sustainability or environmental/social management within the mining sector.
- Strong understanding of ESG and regulatory frameworks including GRI TNFD TCFD CDP and IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards (IFRS S1 and IFRS S2).
- Good understanding of South African mining regulations and compliance requirements
- Experience identifying assessing and mitigating ESG risks within mining operations.
