Duties & Responsibilities
An electronics manufacturing company is looking for an intermediate electronic engineer (firmware) to join our team in Cape Town South Africa
As a manufacturing company you will have the satisfaction of seeing your designs becoming reality on our Production line and being shipped to satisfied customers world-wide.
The primary focus of this role is developing firmware for our product range. As you grow you could have the opportunity to gain experience in other electronics areas such as DC drives (traditional and brushless) general power electronics control system design digital design as well as some RF. Our work is project-based and so each new opportunity brings new challenges and solutions.
Career growth is very important to us and we value engineers who love technology and can bring meaningful innovation to the projects they work on. We believe in building skills through design and code reviews together with continuous training
initiatives. Engineers with Nice work as part of a global team with global opportunities. This is an intermediate position (two four years experience ideal). You need to be
ready to work hard learn quickly and build your skills. Our work is hands-on - we bolt our electronics to real systems and make things work.
Qualification:
Eng/ or higher required (Electronics / Mechatronics)
