To further develop the Customs brokerage product in the marketplace through focus on Operations Finances Sales People Systems and Culture in adherence to the companys policy and procedures.

Tasks and Duties

- Ensure all classification instructions for all shipments for all customers.
- Monitor duty deferment usage and levels.
- Monitor license/visa applications.
- Ensure all new business is transitioned correctly.
- Make 3 F2F calls per week Retention/Sales
- Maintain a positive relationship with the Trade Compliance Manager and support all compliance efforts and trainings.
- Promote productivity tools (e.g. using edoc Raft process management customsware usage/Expo customs.
- Audit of files in accordance to AEO.
- Follow up refunds with customs authorities.
- Management of customs system.
- Send client report requests through the available database (expo request expo reporting).
- Provide content for customer reviews duty/vat.
- Be open to implementing new system changes and enhancements into your department.Â
- Review and conduct staff appraisals and one to one meetings timely in line with the 31 Initiative.
- Assist supervisor and key staff with goal setting and monitoring development.
- Own the product P&L and have an in depth understanding of brokerage as well up to delivery of cargo knowledge.
- Drive the brokerage business development in collaboration with Sales and Account management team.
