Artisan Assistant

To assist a qualified artisan in the maintenance of all machinery and equipment within the AFGRI Animal Feeds business unit.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 12
• 1-year practical maintenance experience within a feed factory environment

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

• Assist with maintenance tasks provide recommendations for repairs or replacements and ensure machine availability.
• Maintain a clean and hygienic working area clean tools and store them properly.
• Adhere to scheduled working hours and work overtime as needed.
• Follow safe working procedures wear PPE report unsafe conditions and comply with safety regulations.
• Monitor and prevent food safety risks maintain cleanliness and adhere to cleaning programs.
• Participate in HACCP team activities adhere to bio-security programs and ensure tools and work areas are clean.
