Our client in the telecommunications sector is looking for an AI Data Engineer on a contract duration of 6 months.
As the Manager: AI Data Engineer you will be responsible for designing building and operating data pipelines and data products purposebuilt for AI and advanced analytics use cases across. The role focuses on enabling feature engineering curated datasets realtime and batch data pipelines and data quality controls that support machine learning models generative AI systems and AI-enabled business services. You will work closely with AI Platform Engineering Data Platform teams MLOps AI Application Engineers Security & Risk and Business stakeholders ensuring AI solutions are powered by accurate compliant and productionready data.

Education:
Technical Competencies
- Master of Science Computer Science Big Data Information systems Engineering Data/AI related
- 5 years experience in:
- Data engineering or platform data roles
- Largescale data pipelines (batch and streaming)
- Feature engineering pipelines
- Cloud data platforms (Azure a must)
- Structured and unstructured data
- Experience in financial services fintech telco or regulated industries is advantageous Exposure to AI/ML or advanced analytics workloads preferred

- Data pipeline and orchestration patterns
- Feature store concepts and implementation
- Streaming and batch data processing
- Data quality lineage and observability
- Cloud-native data platforms
