Technical Project Mgt (Apex)
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Coordination & Execution Support
- Support end-to-end project activities across cleanroom design and build to tool installation execution.
- Maintain and track project schedules milestones and action items
- Monitor progress and escalate risks delays and dependencies
- Prepare regular project status updates and reporting
2. Facility Design & Implementation Support
- Assist in coordination of cleanroom layout and infrastructure planning
- Track key design inputs:
- Tool allocation and layout
- Utility requirements (power gas exhaust CDA PCW)
- Support documentation and follow-up for design reviews and design maturity
3. Contractor & Vendor Coordination
- Support engagement with consultants contractors and vendors
- Assist in:
- Preparation of technical specifications and tender documents
- Tracking tender submissions and responses
- Follow up on contractor deliverables and ensure alignment to project timelines
4. Tool Installation & Integration Support
- Coordinate with engineering and operations teams on:
- Tool move-in planning
- Installation schedules
- Track hook-up readiness and facility availability
- Support execution readiness for tool startup and ramp
5. Cross-Functional Team Coordination
- Work across multiple teams including:
- Facilities (GWI GIS safety security)
- Engineering / BU teams
- Procurement and operations
- Ensure clear communication action tracking and follow-through
6. Cost Tracking & Documentation
- Support tracking of project costs and CAPEX spend
- Maintain documentation for:
- Budget updates
- Purchase orders and procurement status
- Assist in preparing inputs for cost reviews and reporting
7. Operational Readiness Support
- Support readiness for:
- Tool move-in and installation
- Startup scheduling
- Assist coordination between new tool teams and operations team
- Help ensure smooth transition into steady-state operations
Requirements
Experience
- Bachelors degree or Diploma in engineering Project Management or related field
- 35 years of relevant experience in:
- Semiconductor cleanroom or advanced manufacturing environment or
- Facility construction or engineering project execution
Technical Knowledge
- Basic understanding of:
- Cleanroom infrastructure (power exhaust CDA PCW)
- Equipment installation or hook-up processes
- CAD drawings
- Familiarity with semiconductor tools or lab environments is a plus
Project Management Skills
- Ability to:
- Track schedules milestones and deliverables
- Manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Proficiency with project tools (e.g. Excel MS Project trackers)
Soft Skills
- Strong coordination and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with good follow-through
- Ability to work in a fast-paced evolving environment
- Proactive and willing to learn from senior stakeholders
