Job Summary:
Were hiring an IT Operations Specialist to manage and run our Data Centre operations team on a 24x7 basis. Youll ensure facilities IT infrastructure and business applications remain operational secure and available to meet business needs.
Responsibilities
Monitor server and application health system performance and availability of IT services.
Perform Level 1 troubleshooting and recovery for hardware OS and application incidents.
Run and monitor batch jobs backup jobs and production job deployments and schedules.
Support production job processing and ensure timely completion per schedule.
Experience
Ability to respond effectively to issues complex enquiries and complaints from project leaders users and management.
Knowledge of Data Centre and critical services management.
Understanding of IT security fire safety and workplace safety practices.
Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware operating systems and applications.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Team player with a proactive attitude.
