The impact youll make

As a Global Product Support Engineer at Lamyourethe backbone of technical support for field engineers technicians and product support personnel. Yourexpertiseis crucial in diagnosing troubleshooting repairing and debugging complex semiconductor equipment. Your swift action in responding to situations is critical in resolving issues and ensuring satisfaction of Lams valued customers.

What youll do

The Global Product Support Engineer provides technical support to field engineers technicians and product support personnel who are diagnosing troubleshooting repairing and debugging complex electro/mechanical equipment computer systems complex software or networked and/or wireless systems.

In this role you will respond to situations where first-line product support has failed to isolate or fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software. A

dditional duties will include reporting design reliability and maintenance problems or bugs to design engineering/software engineering.

May be involved in customer installation and training and provides support to customer/users where the product is highly technical or sophisticated in nature.

Collaborates with other Lam Research colleagues and teams to ensure quality of product and designs and deliverables for customers. Deliver presentations to external customers to address customer concerns and create projects to resolve and improve the product performance and experience.

Works independently and with team to troubleshoot problem solve address productivity and CIP project.

Who were looking for

Minimum of 12 years of related experience with a Bachelors degree; or 8 years and a Masters degree; or a PhD with 5 years experience; or equivalent.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. On-site Flex youll work 3 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. Virtual Flex youll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location and remotely the rest of the time.
