INTECH Automation Intelligence is seeking Pre-commissioning Lead to join our dynamic team. The Pre-commissioning Lead will take day-to-day responsibility for coordinating and executing pre-commissioning activities across assigned systems driving completion progress managing punch lists and ensuring readiness for commissioning. Experience with pre-commissioning of systems incorporating Schneider Foxboro DCS and Triconex ESD Systems is highly valued.
What Youll Lead and Deliver
- Lead and coordinate the execution of pre-commissioning activities for assigned systems including instrument calibration loop checking continuity checks megger testing and mechanical completion verification.
- Coordinate systematic loop check activities between field instruments and the DCS and ESD systems including Schneider Foxboro DCS and Triconex ESD Systems.
- Track completion progress for assigned subsystems within the project completion database ensuring all checksheets and certificates are completed and signed off.
- Identify record and drive the timely resolution of all A and B punch list items within assigned systems.
- Coordinate pre-commissioning technicians instrumentation and electrical site supervisors and construction teams to align completion activities.
- Ensure all pre-commissioning activities are executed under permit-to-work and isolation management systems in full compliance with project HSE requirements.
- Prepare daily and weekly pre-commissioning progress reports and attend project completion review meetings.
- Ensure all pre-commissioning documentation is complete and dossiers are prepared for formal system handover to commissioning.
Requirements:
To Be Successful in This Role You Must Have:
- Bachelors Degree or HND/Diploma in Instrumentation Electrical Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
- 1315 years of pre-commissioning experience on oil and gas or petrochemical EPC projects.
- Proven lead-level experience coordinating multi-discipline pre-commissioning activities on large systems.
- Experience with pre-commissioning of Schneider Foxboro DCS and Triconex ESD Systems.
- Proficiency in completion management databases (Completions Cloud MCIS or equivalent).
Technical Skills:
- Expertise in executing and overseeing pre-commissioning procedures across instrumentation electrical and mechanical disciplines.
- Proven capability in leading loop check campaigns for DCS and ESD systems including Schneider Foxboro DCS and Triconex ESD Systems.
- Proficiency in managing completion progress in systems such as Completions Cloud MCIS or Comets.
- Strong knowledge of field instrument calibration procedures and documentation requirements for pre-commissioning dossiers.
- Experience categorizing and tracking punch list items and coordinating close-out across multiple disciplines.
Soft Skills:
- Strong coordination and organizational skills to manage multiple completion activities across large complex systems simultaneously.
- Rigorous adherence to safety procedures and commitment to building a safe pre-commissioning work environment.
- Clear reporting and communication with project management commissioning teams and client representatives.
- Strong results-orientation in tracking and closing out completion items to meet system handover milestones.
- Practical approach to resolving pre-commissioning issues drawing conflicts and outstanding completion items.
Experience Requirements:
- 1315 years of hands-on pre-commissioning experience with demonstrated leadership in coordinating multi-discipline completion activities on EPC oil and gas projects.
- Proven experience leading loop checking and pre-commissioning of Schneider Foxboro DCS and Triconex ESD Systems.
- Track record of managing completion databases and delivering pre-commissioning dossiers within project schedules.
- Experience working on Saudi Aramco or ADNOC pre-commissioning projects with knowledge of their completion standards.
