How you will make an impact 

MPOSAir is METROs next-generation checkout solution enabling intuitive reliable secure highly available and consistent invoicing and payment processing across countries stores checkout applications and payment service providers.

The Next-gen Checkout Payments Squad connects business processes with payment technologies. It provides and validates payment methods and checkout conditions integrates external payment service providers and supports cash management operations country-specific requirements regulatory obligations and operating models while promoting a harmonized group-wide checkout solution.

As a Solution Expert you make an impact by shaping the Payments Checkout Conditions and Control Administration areas of the MPOSAir solution. You translate country and business needs into scalable functional designs and align them with the solution architecture and the Next-gen Checkout Payments Squad strategy. Your contribution improves solution availability and reliability customer experience cashier productivity compliance operational stability and the speed at which new capabilities can be introduced across countries.

Your most relevant areas of contribution include:

• Functional solution design and harmonization: Understand checkout payment checkout-condition and cash management processes; translate business and country requirements into clear epics user stories acceptance criteria and end-to-end functional designs; and balance local needs with a reusable global solution.
• Integration compliance and operational reliability: Coordinate end-to-end flows across POS applications payment service providers APIs and dependent platforms. Ensure alignment with security regulatory governance and country-specific requirements and support structured problem analysis and resolution.
• Validation rollout and continuous improvement: Define and support integration and UAT scenarios assess production feedback and solution performance guide countries and technical teams during rollout and adoption and drive improvements that increase scalability resilience operational stability and business value.

Your Responsibilities: 

• Understand the capabilities and limitations of the specific solution or platform;
• Responsible for functional design within the defined solution scope for endtoend crosssystem workflows (ERP workflow engines reporting tools)
• Ensure solution consistency scalability and compliance across platforms and markets
• Jointly with the team and depending on system complexity configure customize and optimize solutions according to business and technical requirements and platform architecture guidance;
• Recommend best practices and design patterns within the respective squad or platform;
• Act as the bridge between business needs and technical execution by interpreting business processes and embedding them into platform configurations and solution design together with the development teams;
• Validate that the implemented solution aligns with business processes compliance requirements and governance standards;
• Assist in implementation integration and testing of the solution;
• Provide training and guidance to users or technical teams;
• Stay up-to-date with latest product updates releases and the case of external solutions this is subject to the condition that employees are given access to relevant information and training;
• Advise on solution roadmap and upgrade paths;
• Help optimize performance scalability and reliability of the deployed solution via continuous improvements;
• Coordinate across squads is SPOC for countries and leads harmonization of solution
• Support with problem analysis;
• Provides consultancy on solution for overarching projects and initiatives.

Qualifications :

Required key competencies and qualifications:

• Proven expertise and relevant work experience as BA/Solution Expert in a tech setup (multinational or startup);
• Good analytical skills - you know how to ask the right questions and how to summarize everything in one picture;
• Having the ability to turn complex concepts into simple language and vice versa;
• Experience in managing stakeholders relations preparing and conducting presentations and briefing your teams (Dev Support QA);
• Being able to manage and facilitate communication in a challenging complex and international work environment;
• Mastering strategic business process modeling traceability linking of dependent tasks and quality management techniques;
• Very good fluency in English (written and verbal).
• Payment domain / Checkout knowledge is a plus
• Good understanding of software testing and solution validation practices
• Data analysis working knowledge of databases and SQL for analysis are a plus
• Understanding of APIs and system integrations
• Agile delivery experience (translating business needs into epics user stories acceptance criteria and backlog items)
