Job Description:
Job Summary:
This role involves ensuring the successful execution of projects according to specifications timelines and budget while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
Job Responsibilities:
* Lead manage and supervise all on-site personnel and subcontractors fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
* Plan organize and direct daily site operations including resource allocation scheduling and progress monitoring.
* Ensure strict adherence to project plans engineering specifications quality control procedures and all relevant health and safety regulations.
* Manage project budgets track expenses and report on financial performance identifying and mitigating potential cost overruns.
* Act as the primary point of contact for clients stakeholders and regulatory bodies on-site.
* Prepare and submit regular progress reports daily logs and other required documentation.
* Identify and resolve site-related issues challenges and conflicts promptly and effectively.
* Implement and enforce Hitachi Rails safety protocols and environmental policies.
* Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
* Manage the procurement and delivery of materials plant and equipment to site.
Job Qualifications:**
* Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management or a related field.
* Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in site management within the rail or large-scale infrastructure industry.
* Strong understanding of railway systems construction methods and project management principles.
* Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams effectively.
* Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* In-depth knowledge of health safety and environmental regulations relevant to construction.
* Fluent in Romanian and English both written and spoken.
* Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to various project sites within Romania as required.
* Proven problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
