Senior Product Design Engineer

• This role involves the creative development and enhancement of linear systems and actuators tailored to market demands.
• The responsibilities include developing 3D solutions for products and testing equipment designing variants by modifying existing elements and evaluating design solutions based on functional material and economic aspects.
• The position requires carrying out internal and external product projects in line with specifications costs and timelines while also optimizing existing products and developing new ones.
• Key duties involve planning and managing R&D projects defining and conducting release tests to ensure quality and creating final documentation.
• The role is also responsible for calculations creating digital twins for product configurators and collaborating with international teams.

Qualifications :

• Completed studies in Mechanical Engineering / Mechatronics or a comparable qualification.
• Good CAD skills (preferably Creo) SAP skills and good knowledge of MS Office products.
• Initial experience in project management and the product development process (PEP) as well as knowledge of development methodologies (DRBFM FMEA etc.) are advantageous.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills a high degree of initiative creativity and analytical thinking goaloriented and methodical work style. 
• Advanced English level German is an advantage.
