Senior Data Engineer (GCP)

• Design build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines that ingest data from multiple source systems into GCP-based platforms
• Develop and implement data transformation logic using SQL dbt Python or similar tools within GCP architectures
• Optimize GCP-based data solutions for performance reliability scalability and cost efficiency
• Establish and enforce data quality checks validation frameworks and comprehensive monitoring for production pipelines
• Collaborate with data analysts BI developers data architects and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Implement data governance security controls role-based access management and compliance standards within GCP environments
• Drive CI/CD automation and deployment processes for data engineering workflows
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all data systems and processes

Qualifications :

• 5 years of professional experience in data engineering analytics engineering or related fields
• Proven hands-on experience with GCP services and architecture in production environments
• Advanced SQL proficiency including complex query development and optimization
• Strong experience designing and building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for cloud-based data platforms
• Proficiency in Python Scala or Java for data processing and automation
• Demonstrated expertise with data transformation and orchestration tools (such as dbt Airflow Matillion Fivetran or Informatica)
• Solid understanding of data modeling data warehousing concepts and dimensional design patterns
• Knowledge of security best practices access control mechanisms and data governance frameworks
• Knowledge of performance tuning workload management and cost optimization strategies
• Familiarity with real-time or near-real-time data ingestion patterns
• Experience with data lineage metadata management and governance tools
• GCP certifications
