Product Specialist Oncology
Job Summary
Executes brand strategies and field tactics sales performance efficiently manages allocated territory and targeted accounts builds strong customer relationships and the ability to solve customer needs to maximize short and long term sales performance placing the patient at the center of any effort and operating within AbbVies code of business conduct policies and laws applicable regulations and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides sales performance key performance indicators (KPIs) in the therapeutic area financial goals marketing objectives order to meet or exceed these goals.
- Create a pre-call plan using SMART goals and execute post-call assessment to continuously improve sales performance. Effectively manage objections misunderstandings concerns and consistently obtain logical and reasonable calls to action to close every sales call.
- Proactively and continuously aspires to meet customer needs expectations and challenges to build trusting relationships with customers and to enter into win-win agreements between AbbVie and customers.
- Develops and executes a call plan that achieves set call metrics and optimizes the reach and frequency of key customers to maximize access and sales opportunities.
- Builds continuous understanding of customer needs and expectations territorial market landscape competitors market segments/dynamics accounts conditions products clinical expertise and sales and shares this market information with the field team brand team and sales manager to ensure alignment to anticipate changes and environmental challenges and to optimize the brand strategy and its execution.
- Differentiate AbbVies value proposition with designated and identified healthcare providers develop and retain state experts on various diseases and speakers/ militants to maximize brand performance.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree biology pharmacy business related fields or equivalent.
- Proven successful sales experience and solid presentation skills.
- Demonstrates a high level of personal initiative and resilience to achieve the desired results in a short time and an increased capacity to adapt to new business models.
- Demonstrates in-depth scientific therapeutic product and competitive knowledge and is recognized as an expert resource by all relevant stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of business and competent use of business tools; possesses strategic and critical thinking capabilities. Candidates with previous experience in hematology and/ oncology of at least 1 year will be given priority.
- Proactively identifies customer style/behavior and quickly adapts all aspects of the sales approach.
- Works efficiently in a matrix environment.
- Preferably successful proven experience in sales performance in the therapeutic areas of oncology.
- Preferable experience in the commercial pharmaceutical industry such as physician/account based sales training managed healthcare or marketing.
- Knowledge of English spoken and written.
