Mobile Test Automation Engineer

We are looking for a Mobile Test Automation Engineer to join our partners team and contribute to ensuring the quality stability and performance of mobile applications.

Responsibilities

• Design develop and maintain automated test scripts for mobile applications on Android and/or iOS.
• Build and maintain automated testing frameworks and reusable test components.
• Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects regressions and potential issues.
• Collaborate with developers QA engineers and other stakeholders to ensure application quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and faster feedback.
• Perform functional regression integration and end-to-end testing.
• Investigate test failures identify root causes and report defects with clear reproduction steps.
• Maintain and improve the stability reliability and execution speed of automated test suites.
• Work with mobile emulators simulators and real devices to validate application behavior across different environments.
• Participate in test planning requirement analysis and test strategy discussions.
• Contribute to improving testing processes automation coverage and QA best practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience in software testing with a strong focus on mobile test automation.
• Hands-on experience with mobile automation frameworks such as Appium Espresso or XCUITest.
• Good programming skills in at least one language such as Java Kotlin Swift Python or JavaScript.
• Experience testing native hybrid and/or cross-platform mobile applications.
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies test design techniques and QA processes.
• Experience with functional regression integration and end-to-end testing.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and API testing tools such as Postman or similar.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and automated test execution pipelines.
• Experience working with Android emulators iOS simulators and real mobile devices.
• Ability to analyze test results troubleshoot failures and identify root causes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
• Fluency inGerman is mandatory.

Nice to Have

• Experience with tools such as BrowserStack Sauce Labs or Firebase Test Lab.
• Familiarity with Jenkins GitLab CI/CD GitHub Actions or similar tools.
• Experience with performance compatibility and cross-device testing.
• Knowledge of mobile application architecture and the mobile release lifecycle.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
