Legal Trainee RO

As a Legal Trainee you will take part in a 12-month learning journey with the aim of becoming familiar with JDE Peets business processes from the Legal & Compliance department perspective.

This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic multinational environment working closely with senior legal professionals and cross-functional teams.

• You will support legal operations across multiple jurisdictions within CEE region including Romania Bulgaria Hungary Czech Republic Slovakia Poland and Baltics.      
• You have the opportunity to rotate through Corporate Affairs as well gaining one-of-a-kind combined knowledge that is very valuable and rare on the market.
• Develop an in-depth understanding of in-house lawyer activities and processes together with hands-on business acumen.

For this role as a Legal Trainee  were looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

• Law graduate or final-year law student with approximately 12 years of relevant professional experience including internships or traineeships.
• Excellent English proficiency both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical skills attention to detail and the ability to synthesize information and identify key insights.
• Comfortable using MS Office and eager to learn new systems and tools.
• Proactive practical and business-oriented mindset with a can-do attitude and willingness to move tasks forward even when not all information is immediately available.
• Comfortable working in a multicultural cross-border environment and collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
