Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your procurement expertise in a new cutting-edge field. Youll report to Carmen BOZINTAN (Cluster/Country Team Lead) and work alongside fun motivated and dedicated teammates.

Youll manage procurement operations for Indirect Commodity Transportation and Logistics Services in a geographical scope in line with commodity objectives and support supplier panel relationship (negotiation specific agreement local supplier performances). Day-to-day youll work closely with teams across the business (Commodity Management Regional Procurement Director Site buyers Requesters and their management) consolidating the commodity needs and much more.

Youll specifically set up full supplier selection process and support the deployment of commodity strategies while ensuring that purchased goods and services are both cost-efficient and of high quality.

Well look to you for:

• Collaborate regularly with Project Management Supply Chain and local sites to anticipate and secure transportation needs
• Managing specific supplier panel relationship (negotiation specific agreement local supplier quality cost & time delivery performances)
• Monitoring day to day suppliers performances and issues
• Managing of initial issues before escalation to line manage
• Consolidating commodity needs and inputs
• Actively participating in commodity strategy and panel elaboration
• Supporting the Commodity Manager in tender phase
• Representing the commodities towards projects platforms and solutions
• Effective teamwork with internal customers and stakeholders in problem solving
• Applying the Alstom Sourcing process and provide return on experience
• Preparation and launch of Request for Quotation with suppliers using the standard tool
• Monitoring sourcing project quality cost & time delivery & legal project evolution (FAI Business Award Product development)
• Ensuring work package sheet commitment respect
• Lead Transportation & Logistics contract creation negotiation and contract lifecycle management

• Degree level qualification
• Good knowledge of indirect procurement (goods & services and experience/knowledge in transportation and logistics is a plus)
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a relevant position
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP & SAP ARIBA are an advantage)
• Fluency in English
• Strong negotiation and relationship management skills willingness to take initiative autonomy
• Good communication collaboration and analytical skills
• Ability to work in a multicultural and multidisciplinary environment
• Knowledge of German or Swedish language is an advantage
