As the Finance Manager you will serve as a visionary leader and a strategic architect of the affiliates success. You will lead a multidisciplinary team to ensure financial sustainability operational excellence including the supply chain management to the end-customer and a culture of integrity while reporting through a solid line to the General Manager and a functional line to the Regional Finance Head.

• Strategic Partnering: Act as a key member of the Affiliate Enabling Team leveraging financial data and market trends to guide executive decisions investment planning and resource allocation.

• Financial Governance: Ensure the highest standards of accounting financial control and compliance with Internal Audit Roche Accounting Standards and local regulations.

• Operational Excellence: Manage the license to operate functions Procurement Supply Chain and Order-to-Pay process to the end-customers while leading the local deployment of global infrastructure initiatives like ASPIRE.

• Risk & Value Management: Navigate volatile macroeconomic environments to maintain P&L sustainability mitigate financial risks and identify emerging growth opportunities.

• VACC Leadership: Model VACC principles to lead and mentor a diverse team of leaders identify and develop the next generation of leaders fostering capability building and psychological safety in an agile environment.

• Network Collaboration: Influence without authority by building strong cross-functional and geographical relationships to drive organizational stability and change management.

• Enterprise Thinking: Connects affiliate priorities with the regional and global ambition to ensure alignment with enterprise-wide priorities

• Lead across network and regional initiatives: Influences and leverages networks beyond the finance function to create value and drive impact.

• Digital Innovation: Champion digital transformation by integrating fintech advancements AI and predictive analytics to shift the finance function toward strategic advisory.

• Experienced Finance Leader: You hold a degree in Finance Accounting or Economics with 10 years of progressive experience including a solid track record of senior leadership within a regulated commercial environment.

• Strong customer focus mindset experience in contracting and commercial negotiations.

• Qualified Professional: You possess a professional qualification (CPA CA ACA CIMA or Roche Accounting Diploma) and have a proven track record of managing a P&L.

• Agile Architect: You are a decisive leader who thrives in complexity with experience leading other leaders and managing cross-functional squads in an agile high-performance culture.

• System/Enterprise Thinker: You cultivate a deep curiosity regarding inter-functional impacts while maintaining a comprehensive grasp of the end-to-end value chain from R&D through to commercial finance.

• Strategic Communicator: You are fluent in English and possess the ability to articulate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders with clarity and influence.

• Tech-Savvy Visionary: You possess strong commercial acumen and a passion for leveraging technology and data to simplify workflows and challenge the status quo.
