Development Engineer Production Test

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated engineer to design develop and maintain production test equipment for professional audio and communication devices. This role is critical in ensuring product quality reliability and manufacturing efficiency through robust and scalable test solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop automated and semi-automated production test systems for professional electronic products.
• Collaborate with global R&D supply chain engineering manufacturing and quality teams to define test requirements.
• Work closely with international engineering teams to support new product introductions and manufacturing transfers.
• Develop test software and integrate hardware interfaces for functional test product programming and/or boundary scan applications.
• Analyze test data and implement improvements to enhance yield and reduce test time.
• Support production teams with troubleshooting and continuous improvement of test processes.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal quality requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering Electronics or related field.
• Experience with production test equipment test automation and manufacturing processes in an industrial environment.
• Experience with test development tools (e.g. LabVIEW TestStand Python C/C).
• Knowledge of RF testing audio signal analysis acoustic measurements and embedded systems.
• Knowledge of electronic circuits instrumentation and measurement techniques.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in a manufacturing or high-volume production environment is a plus.
• Experience with statistical analysis and yield improvement methodologies is beneficial.
• Fluent English is required.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
• Relevant experience in test development or manufacturing engineering is preferred. Entry-level candidates with strong internship or project experience are encouraged to apply.
