Customs Operations Specialist

As Customs Operations Specialist working at Customs Operations Europe & Africa in Bucharest the main assignment is to send correctly compiled import declarations using a digital solution in direct contact with brokers and Customs Authorities in each country.

You will secure good communication and support to and from other IKEA units external service providers and authorities within Europe to ensure timely accurate and compliant entries according to customs rules and regulations.

You will control and investigate various issues to secure compliance in every customs declaration according to countries legislations. You will also contribute to the development of how we work and reaching our goals within the department.

You should be: 

• Familiar with Microsoft Office tools especially Excel 

• Comfortable with working and navigating in digital IT solutions 

• Fluent in English both written and verbal

• Experience/Education within the field of customs and import operation logistics and/or supply chain
